Full Moon’s are traditionally a time of culmination as well as an opportunity for hidden feelings or emotions to come to the surface. This Full Moon sees Libra opposing an Aries Sun. Libra’s focus is harmony, balance and understanding towards others, while Aries is very focused on one’s self, leading with less tact, but with courage and boldness. This Full Moon wants us to look at our relationships. Where have we been giving too much at the expense our own desires, and on the flip side, where have we been ignoring others in the pursuit of what we want. Embrace that Libra balance to find equilibrium between the two. Pay attention to what comes up in your relationships, especially how it feels. In addition to this, Jupiter is also square both planets adding a layer of expansion that could overshoot the reality about everything that you are feeling. While we all generally love expansion, be mindful of over-extending and over-promising in your pursuit of attaining the goal of balance. However, with truth on its side, Jupiter may push you to uncomfortable but expansive realizations around how you are giving and receiving in your relationships, that could change your course for the better.
Later on in the month we have Mars moving into its home sign of Aries. This will ignite the fiery and instinctual energy, giving us the boldness to make things happen. Embrace this energy if you are looking to start anything new and need an extra burst of courage. Be mindful about impatience and impulsiveness though, as Mars is fast paced and reactive, often not considering reflection. When channeled consciously, this energy is very empowering.
Next up to enter Aries, we have Mercury. This transit is all about quick decisions and direct, honest communication. If ever there was a time to speak with courage, this is it. As always with any planet in Aries, be mindful of impulsiveness. While this is a great time to make decisions and speak based on instinct, it doesn’t hurt to take a beat before getting ahead of yourself. More clarity makes a bigger impact.
The New Moon on the 17th brings us more of the fresh Aries energy. As Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, this New Moon acts as a true clean slate. Aries has a child-like joy, the type of energy that allows you to follow your passion just because it sounds exciting. Start setting intentions and plans to launch that project you’ve been thinking about forever. The more it aligns with your true self, the better. As always with Aries, be cautious of impulsivity (seriously, I can’t say that enough this month). Taking a moment to reflect ensures your energy is truly channeled to where it will be most effective.
The Sun enters Taurus, bringing with it some much needed grounding energy. This is the perfect time to nurture your ideas and solidify your progress with long term stability as the goal. While focusing on your goals is important, Taurus energy encourages you to take a moment and savour the success of what has already unfolded.
Finally one of our outer planets, Uranus, is moving into Gemini. Uranus brings sudden change, innovative ideas, eccentricity, rebelliousness, and forward thinking energy. In the quick sign of Gemini, this 7 year transit may spark sudden shifts in the way we communicate, learn and share information. Think fast paced with plenty of room for surprises. The key to navigating this period is to stay open-minded and flexible. Old patterns in regard to friendships, social structures, communication and how we learn may be disrupted, but with the goal of creating something more innovative. These changes won’t happen overnight, small, rapid shifts will accumulate over time, resulting in lasting transformation.
