Where do I start. I am a Virgo. Not just a Virgo Sun, a Virgo stellium. For those that don’t know, the term “stellium” refers to the instance of having 3 or more planets in a specific sign. As you can imagine, having so much planetary energy in one sign can really ramp up the power! My placements include Saturn, Mercury, Jupiter and the Sun. I like to (and will going forward) refer to myself as a Super Virgo. So when I say I relate to all things Virgo, I’m not lying.

Messy action. My old self would have heard the message and wanted to dive deeper. To gain knowledge, yes. But also in a quest to avoid listening to the advice and instead to perfect what messy action is (in my brain, not in actual real life). So I decided, for once, I’m not going to look up where it came from and learn everything there is to know about it, I’m going to embrace what I received and credit it to my beautiful friend Sandra.

One of the things I love the most about astrology is that it allows you to understand your perceived strengths and weaknesses and work forward from that point. So you may have tendencies towards analysis paralysis, it doesn’t mean that is who you are. What it does mean is that when that tendency creeps up, you can recognize it, acknowledge it and move in a different way. Which is how I have been and will continue to live my life going forward.

I’m having a flash back of leading a course structured around how the planets impact the signs, and vice versa. Every time I would hit Virgo, my advice was always “learn to chill”. And I said that with love, always, because I know how hard it is. Me and my fellow Virgo’s will tell you (or probably won’t because it might be considered a weakness) that we have a tendency to overthink. We get caught up in the details, often (depending on other placements) to our own detriment. I can’t tell you how many times I have been SO excited about something, started it, overthought the hell out of it, and then quit. Not because the passion was gone, simply because my overactive, analytical brain decided it was too complicated, I hadn’t learned enough, didn’t know enough; really who was I to be speaking on this?

Don’t get it twisted, we have super powers. Because we can be self-deprecating by nature, this is of course going to come last :) We can analyze a room upside down and backwards before most people have even hung up their coats. And if you don’t think we’re listening? Trust and believe, we are. We’ve heard everything you’ve said with your mouth, face and body language and have entered it into the super computer for further analysis and filed it away with coloured tabs and an index for later use.

Now here’s the thing. Virgo placements can be GREAT at astrology (again, depending on other astrological placements). We love to learn and are generally very intelligent (and I say this with a giant cringe because we’re typically also very humble). But delving deep into a chart, all those placements and calculations and charts, oh man. The best! Gemini Moon and Pisces Rising have taken over and I’ve lost the plot a little here.

Back to the beginning. Embrace the messy action. Thank you again to Sandra. These 4 words have summarized my quest for the last too many years to count. My Virgo friends, embrace the messy action. The world around us suggests that we try to do one thing better each day. I challenge you to do one thing worse. I’m laughing as I type this because my old self would have told you to kick rocks (in my head, filed away that you’re crazy). But honestly. Do something worse than you normally would. I’ll give you an example. I am currently working on breaking into a space of being seen. Terrifying, especially because there’s no place Super Virgo’s love more than the background. I recorded a voice note with the intent on posting it on instagram. I had it all ready to go, about the press “schedule”. I decided to give it one last listen. Oh my God, why am I breathing so much? Why am I breathing so loud!? Instant panic, delete, delete, delete! Thankfully, because I’m on this journey, I saved a draft before total crash and burn. This is where the beautiful words “embrace the messy action” entered my life. Because I am on this journey of doing something worse, I asked for help (omg, another cringe thing for a Virgo). Instead of giving up, I was given the gift of mess, with the intention that if you don’t try, you can’t get better. So the message was rescheduled (ahhhh!) and I’m hiding my phone from myself for the rest of the day. Side note, if you’re into breathing noises, my instagram handle is @myinnersky222.

So, am I going to re-read this 356 times before I post it? Probably. But am I going to post it, hell yes! It turns out that doing something worse, over time, may actually result in doing something better, who knew! If you’re reading this, know that I’ve embraced the mess, strived to do something worse and did the damn thing….and you can too!

Oh, and one last piece of advice. If you can sort it out, have a child with some Aries placements…they’ll point out all your flaws ;)

Full Moon in Scorpio - May 1, 2026

If there’s one thing that Scorpio is known for, it’s the ability to dig deep. If you have friends or loved ones with Scorpio placements (and you might not even know it, they are the masters of mystery!) you will know that they don’t shy away from the truth and will go as deep as required to unearth it.

The beauty of this level of depth is that there is no room for illusion. When the truth has nowhere to hide, it can be revealed and ultimately healed; creating space for real growth. This is where the power lies, in the opportunity to live fully and authentically…..and who doesn’t want that??

So what can we expect from a Full Moon in Scorpio? With the Sun in Taurus casting its light on the Moon in this intense and emotional sign, truth comes to light, deep secrets are unearthed. It may shine a light on power dynamics in your life, asking you to be honest about what is really going on beneath the surface.

But let’s not forget Taurus’ role in all of this. Taurus energy is stable and looks to hold on to what is familiar and comfortable. So how can we use these two opposing positions in the best possible way? Scorpio energy loves to unearth, understand and release what is no longer needed, without regard for how uncomfortable that may be. Taurus energy wants to build foundations that are long lasting and persevere over time. Pay attention to what is coming up, especially hard truths that you’ve been avoiding. Use that Scorpio energy to acknowledge and release. Then allow Taurus to step in and begin the rebuild, but this time from a place of deeper self awareness and alignment with your own authenticity and power.

Although the honesty presented in the transit can be difficult, it offers a profound opportunity for long lasting growth and transformation.

April Astrological Forecast

Balancing Relationships - Bold Action - New Beginnings - Stability - Expansion

MyInnerSky

Dates to remember:

Apr 1 - Full Moon in Libra

Apr 9 - Mars Enters Aries

Apr 14 - Mercury Enters Aries

Apr 17 - New Moon in Aries

Apr 19 - Sun Enters Taurus

Apr 25 - Uranus Enters Gemini

Full Moon’s are traditionally a time of culmination as well as an opportunity for hidden feelings or emotions to come to the surface. This Full Moon sees Libra opposing an Aries Sun. Libra’s focus is harmony, balance and understanding towards others, while Aries is very focused on one’s self, leading with less tact, but with courage and boldness. This Full Moon wants us to look at our relationships. Where have we been giving too much at the expense our own desires, and on the flip side, where have we been ignoring others in the pursuit of what we want. Embrace that Libra balance to find equilibrium between the two. Pay attention to what comes up in your relationships, especially how it feels. In addition to this, Jupiter is also square both planets adding a layer of expansion that could overshoot the reality about everything that you are feeling. While we all generally love expansion, be mindful of over-extending and over-promising in your pursuit of attaining the goal of balance. However, with truth on its side, Jupiter may push you to uncomfortable but expansive realizations around how you are giving and receiving in your relationships, that could change your course for the better.

Later on in the month we have Mars moving into its home sign of Aries. This will ignite the fiery and instinctual energy, giving us the boldness to make things happen. Embrace this energy if you are looking to start anything new and need an extra burst of courage. Be mindful about impatience and impulsiveness though, as Mars is fast paced and reactive, often not considering reflection. When channeled consciously, this energy is very empowering.

Next up to enter Aries, we have Mercury. This transit is all about quick decisions and direct, honest communication. If ever there was a time to speak with courage, this is it. As always with any planet in Aries, be mindful of impulsiveness. While this is a great time to make decisions and speak based on instinct, it doesn’t hurt to take a beat before getting ahead of yourself. More clarity makes a bigger impact.

The New Moon on the 17th brings us more of the fresh Aries energy. As Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, this New Moon acts as a true clean slate. Aries has a child-like joy, the type of energy that allows you to follow your passion just because it sounds exciting. Start setting intentions and plans to launch that project you’ve been thinking about forever. The more it aligns with your true self, the better. As always with Aries, be cautious of impulsivity (seriously, I can’t say that enough this month). Taking a moment to reflect ensures your energy is truly channeled to where it will be most effective.

The Sun enters Taurus, bringing with it some much needed grounding energy. This is the perfect time to nurture your ideas and solidify your progress with long term stability as the goal. While focusing on your goals is important, Taurus energy encourages you to take a moment and savour the success of what has already unfolded.

Finally one of our outer planets, Uranus, is moving into Gemini. Uranus brings sudden change, innovative ideas, eccentricity, rebelliousness, and forward thinking energy. In the quick sign of Gemini, this 7 year transit may spark sudden shifts in the way we communicate, learn and share information. Think fast paced with plenty of room for surprises. The key to navigating this period is to stay open-minded and flexible. Old patterns in regard to friendships, social structures, communication and how we learn may be disrupted, but with the goal of creating something more innovative. These changes won’t happen overnight, small, rapid shifts will accumulate over time, resulting in lasting transformation.

Astrology Readings

Thanks for reading!
